Under the leadership of Dr. Billy Cabellon, the UPMASA Research Committee has been actively identifying the research needs of the UP College of Medicine and the Philippine General Hospital. This Research Fund will help to provide the resources needed by alumni who are involved in academia and research in support of research institutions in the Philippines.

Your donations will help realize the following objectives of the UPMASA Research Committee:
- Help identify the needs of the UP College of Medicine/PGH in Research
- Establish a Research Fund, defining its purpose and use.
- Assure the proper administration of research funds
- Identify Alumni involved in academia and research
- Coordinate with Alumni to give Lectures pertaining to research
- Seek Funding Opportunities from Government, International Institutions and Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industries
- Support the establishment of international collaborations
- Support the establishment of Philippine research institutions
- Stage the presentation of research findings.
